Св-во формовочных и стержневых смесей, характериз. трудоемкость их удаления из формы по охлаждении отливки. В. с. зависит от природы связующ, материала (органич., неорганич.), содержания его в смеси, силового взаимодействия между отливкой и стержнем или частью формы, темп-ры прогрева смеси. Смеси с органич. связующими, как правило, легко удаляются из отливки вследствие деструкции и выгорания связующего. Выбиваемость жидкостекольных смесей затруднена, песчано-глинистые смеси по выбиваемости занимают промежут. положение.
В. с. может определяться разными методами, напр, величиной работы, затрачив. на сквозную пробивку технологич. пробы (образца) смеси диам. 50 мм и высотой 30 мм после ее нагрева и охлаждения на спец. вертикальном копре с конич. бойком, по ф-ле:

где n - число ударов бойка; G - масса падающего груза; h - высота падения груза (методика ГНЦ РФ «ЦНИИТМАШ»).
